EMPOWERING DETROIT'S YOUTH PROGRAMS WITH MEANINGFUL EVALUATION
At the Organizational Disparities Laboratory (ODL), we believe that every after-school and co-curricular program serving Detroit's youth deserves access to high-quality evaluation, no matter the budget. As part of MSU College of Education's outreach initiative, CED in 313, we provide evaluation and research services that prove program impact, meet funder requirements, and help you confidently advance and expand your organization.

What We Offer
Free Services for Eligible Youth Programs
​​We know accessing quality, affordable program evaluation can be challenging. That is why the ODL provides access to the following essential services to all DPSCD-affilated, youth-serving programs at no cost.

Initial Consultation:
A discovery meeting to understand your program goals and outcomes.
Bi-Annual Data Snapshot:
A basic, visual report with frequency distribution data (e.g., bar or pie charts).
ODL Youth Program Instrument:
A validated tool for measuring engagement, experience, and outcomes - ready to deploy.
Interpretation Session & Data Debrief:
A meeting to discuss your results and what they mean.
